Jon Lachlan Stewart Artistic director and co-founder
Jon is a bilingual playwright, performer and director, and co-founder and artistic director of the Sterling award-winning company, Surreal SoReal Theatre, and has worked across Canada. Acting credits include The Goat, or Who is Sylvia (Citadel Theatre), The Palace Grand (understudy, Electric Company), Whale Riding Weather (Zee Zee Theatre), The Play About the Baby (Theatre Network / Image Theatre), Flocons Pour Alicia, Ecran Fumee(Theatre la Seizieme), Fraises en Janvier (Lunitheatre), Harry the King (Repercussion Theatre), and his solo play,Big Shot (various companies in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Winnipeg, Montreal and Toronto), which will play this year at Toronto’s Nextstage festival. Selected playwriting credits include Big Shot, Little Room, Boop, The Genius Code, Dog, and Edith Rex, which have played or are in development with Theatre Network, Catalyst Theatre, Shadow Theatre and The Citadel Theatre. Cory Sincennes Resident designer
Cory is a award winning designer currently residing in Edmonton. His set, costume, lighting and video designs have been seen throughout Canada, as well as in Germany, Austria, England, Belgium and Russia. He has received both national and international recognition for his design work and is fast becoming one of Canada’s newest young talents. Cory earned a degree in Architectural Studies from Carleton University before studying design at Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto. He also holds a MFA in Theatre Design from the University of Alberta. Vincent Foricer Company Co-Founder
Vincent is making his mark on the Canadian theatre scene using his movement skill set. He has been involved as a choreographer on many shows including: Big Shot, Blue, Death: LIVE! and Nobody’s Story (Sterling Nominated). He also has toured in collaboration with Brian Webb Dance (Edm.), Dancer’s Studio West (Cal.), New Dance Horizons (Reg.) and Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers (Win.) On top of choreography and dance he is also a successful director and actor. His unique blend of theatre and dance is what sets him apart from others. He has been described as scarily eloquent both physically and mentally. Acting credits include: The Tall Building (Azimuth Theatre), Nightlight (Quest Theatre), Dog, Eleanor, Twisted Thing, Grumplestock’s (Surreal SoReal Theatre), The Ambassador’s Wives (Teatro La Quindicina), Pool / No Water (Studio Theatre MFA) and Stickboy (Vancouver Opera). Vincent received his B.F.A – Acting from the University of Alberta and is the Co-founder of Surreal SoReal Theatre with Jon Lachlan Stewart.
